Meet the Team

Deeside Home Care Team

In addition to our management team, we have the support of a loyal, skilled and experienced team consisting of Senior Carers and Carers - the vast majority of whom have either achieved Level 2 or 3 NVQ / QCF or are busy working towards this qualification.

Great care is taken to select staff to care for you who will meet your requirements. We offer as much choice as possible in all aspects of your care, this includes the choice of gender of the person delivering personal care and being involved, if you wish, in the assessment of your needs and the production and review of your personal 'Care & Support Plan'.

Our team are our major asset - we offer as much support and flexibility as possible to them so that they are happy in their role. We operate a formal recruitment and selection procedure for all staff positions. All staff are subject to an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check before they commence employment, and in line with regulations, a repeat check at least every 3 years. They then undergo a 6-month probationary period when they first join us, followed by 3 monthly reviews of their progress with our Manager and ongoing appropriate training.
